Hello All,

I just read about your new show in an article written in Chicagoland Gardening, congratulations! I am a complete newbie to Dig In, I don't have cable but I did bookmark your site, I'm hoping to learn many things & be entertained by both Mike Nowak & his co-host.

Some tips will be helpful, any catch-up info also would be most graciously accepted.

Best of luck,
Audrey Minervino

I worked with mike Clark for years at the frog bar and all of his ideas were quite imaginative. His direction in the kitchen was unchallenged and the result was a simplistic, wonderfully enjoyable dinning experience. His wit and voice will be heard through his cooking. Best wishes...
Heirloom seeds from Seed Savers Exchange (Decorah, IA) are now growing in the new garden designed by Diane Ott-Whealy outside the Field Museum. Visitors can buy packets of the seed varieties inside the museum. Guess what the garden sculpture is...hint: it is very large!

IMHO this totally defaets the idea of growing your own, and I hate to say this is an overpriced gimmick. To grow vegetables, all you need is dirt, seeds, water, fertiliser, lots of sun, and time. You don't need MicroNutrient Technology(TM)' ,UltraFiber Containment System(TM), and Brawndo (it's got what plants crave). Back to basics!
